Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ruckus, including helloruckus.com and the Ruckus games, experiences and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Zab & Roy Investment Group ("Ruckus," "we," "us"). By creating an account, buying a plan, or joining a game, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
1. Who can use Ruckus
Hosts must be at least 18 years old. Participants who join a game with a code must be at least 16. The Service is designed for workplace and team events and is not directed to children.
2. Accounts
Hosts create an account with an email address. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account, including activity by co-hosts you invite. Participants join with a game code and a first name and do not need an account.
3. Plans, payment and renewal
- Free: limited use at no cost.
- Single Experience: a one-time payment for one experience, usable for 30 days from purchase.
- Monthly plans (Business, Team and additional host seats) renew automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By starting a paid plan you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the plan and any renewals. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes unless stated.
Cancel any time from Settings > Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. We do not give partial or prorated refunds for unused time, and a Single Experience purchase is non-refundable once that experience has been started. If something went wrong, contact us and we will review it.
If a Single Experience was purchased in the 30 days before you start a monthly plan, we will credit that amount toward your first month, as described on our pricing page.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Changes apply at your next renewal.
4. Your content
"Your content" means anything you or your participants add to the Service, such as event titles, bingo squares, prompts, recognition messages, names, logos and photos. You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited license to host, store, display and process it only to run the Service for you.
Hosts are responsible for their events and content, including getting any permissions needed from participants (for example, before asking people to share photos) and following their own workplace policies. Hosts can hide or remove photos and participants at any time.
5. AI writing tools
Some plans include tools that use artificial intelligence to draft squares, prompts and messages. AI drafts can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Review everything before you use it. You are responsible for content you choose to publish. Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI tools.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit or harmful;
- upload content you do not have the right to share, or photos of people without their permission;
- try to access another organization's events, data or accounts;
- interfere with, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the Service;
- resell or share access to your account outside your organization.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Our property
The Service, including the Ruckus name, logo, games, design and software, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to our trademarks.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on providers such as Stripe for payments and hosting and AI providers to operate. Their services are covered by their own terms.
9. Changes and availability
We may update, add or remove features. We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during live events. Please have a backup plan for important events.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or fail to pay. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after termination.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your events or your breach of these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify hosts by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
